Youth Network - Safe Summers Program

SAFE SUMMERS is a program that OPM will begin in June of 2009. It uses the Teens, Crime, and the Community curriculum to teach at apartment complexes during the summer. A two week session will focus on crime prevention and involving youth in the community. The program develops self-esteem, leadership, and citizenship skills by engaging young people in action to positively affect the circumstances of their lives.
